So last Sunday after church we decided to eat chocolate chip pancakes and then walk around the Mesa temple. It was such a beautiful evening and a lot of fun to walk around the temple grounds with my family.
I'm not sure if you can see Bug's face, but it's COVERED in chocolate!!
First view of the temple. It's not visible when you are driving to it. When you get a block away you turn a corner and there it is! Isn't it beautiful!! The temple is the most beautiful place on earth.

After listening to the christ statue, we went through an art gallory of Christ's life that was beautiful! Bug decided she was tired and layed down in the middle of the room and looked at the lights. it was so cute! when she got herself up, i sat down and held her and Buddy while the other's enjoyed the art work. While Bug and Buddy were on my lap, Bug decided her cousin needed a hug! it was so funny!! I didn't get the picture on my camera, but hubby's sister did, I'm hoping she posts the picture on their blog!
We didn't realize that there were so many mosquitoes out looing for good blood. They decided my blood was the best so they attacked my legs. this is one side of my leg. I have tons more on my other leg and the other side of this leg. I've spent the week waking up from the itchy ness of my legs! ugg i hate mosquitoes!! but for some reason they LOVE me, and always have. (no one else ended up getting bite! only me!!)

Bug LOVES sunglasses or glasses!! any form and she loves to wear them and put them on us! It's so cute!
She loves this yardsale find from last May! the front part is opened and if you can tell, there is a remote control in there. We know where to find the remotes when they are missing. Bug LOVES putting them inside her car trunk!

She also uses her bike to get on top of things. this is her trying to stand up on it so she can get ontop of that tote!! silly monkey!
this is a fun toy that a friend gave us when they were moving out of state. She loves hiding under it and having us chase her around.
Another favorite thing are colored pencils! She LOVES stealing them and throwing them around the room. I've started to pull out paper so she can color on it. It was so cute, the other day i was trying to color with her. She looked at how i was holding the pencil and then she held the pencil the same way!! she did it from watching me!! What a smartie pants i have!
This is what she thinks an embroiderer hoop is used for!!! She LOVES getting into my craft boxes and play with all the different "toys" i have in there. Also, another story, when she gets on her car, she goes "vrooom vroom!" i don't know where she picked that up! she does it with out any coaxing from me! it's crazy!
I've found that it's easier to get her to eat when she doesn't have the tray on her high chair so we put the food on the table and she will eat all evening long if we let her! (we are currently working on keeping her feet off the table)
One evening this past week we went to our apartment park and showed daddy how fast Bug goes down slides!
this monkey has NO fear!! If she sees a big kid do it than she will do it! It's so crazy! She isn't scared of heights at all! She goes down these slides so fast, we can either get a picture of her at the top or at the bottom, never in between and we NEVER have time to start a video! silly girl!

Her new favorite game is to sneak over to the trash can and attempt to empty it's contents . . . uggg! So i've started to put a gate up to block her from getting into the kitchen.
another new game we've started is to peel tape off the wall. i've put some tape up so she can have something to do rather than dig in the trash!
Saturday's adventures!
We woke up early Saturday to go for a hike with Husband's sister and her family. It was so much fun!!!
We decided Bug would like to walk the first couple of steps of the trip (didn't work so well, she wanted to play in the dirt!)

This was at the middle point of the hike. It was such a pretty view to look down into Glendale, AZ!
this is something funny about Phoenix, they have all these homes built around a man made lakes. I had to get a picture of it to share. (also i had to share the view)
Another thing that makes me laugh about this area are their green bark trees!!! Above is a tree with green bark!!! i just don't get it!
Buddy is such a great hiker! he made it to almost the end before he fell asleep.
Daddy and Bug raced to the lunch area since there was shade. Husband is my Snowman i've decided, if he's out in the sun to long he starts to melt. I love my Snowman!
After the hike Bug took a 35 minute nap.

Since Bug didn't nap as long as she needed to, she kept laying herself on the floor to try to sleep. it was so funny
