HAAA!!! in the costume shop we are making the costumes for the upcoming show of Your a Good Man Charley Brown... a musical. There are a total of six characters. When i was told that, i was thinking that it would be a quick trip to the costume storage shed and we would be done... but i was so wrong. We are making every costume... except for the socks... and since we could find fabric with the print on it, we had to go to the next best thing... sewing on every stripe on the shirt, and every pockadot... i got stuck with Patty's dress, a purple and black pock- a- dot dress. If you have ever sewn before, you know that circles are the worst things to get stuck sewing. i have sewn on like fifty pock- a- dots, and I had to put in a REALLY puffy sleeve with a gathered band on the bottom of it. It sucked way bad. and then we are putting black piping along the edges of the costume so on stage, she will look like a cartoon. It is crazy. When I'm done with it, i will of course put it up along with pics of all the costumes.. that is if i can take pictures of them. It is going to be great. I cant wait.
So i got asked to a dance.. I'm so nervous, I don't know the kid very well, but I'm ways excited. I am trying to get myself out and about more than i usually do. I have been very successful lately.
Well I'm hungry... i should probably go eat dinner, yes at 10 pm. but really fast, i played the bari sax in band yesterday! It was so much fun!!!! my hands hurt though, that dang thing is so heavy it is ridiculous. Well, i think i have decided to become a band teacher, that will change over night though so don't think that it is set in stone. but i guess have fun, be safe, and CTR
