romantic love story. . .

So, last month, Ky and I were told to put a spotlight together for our ward newsletter. We decided that it would make as a good post for our blog and be fun for you to read. so here is a copy of our spotlight

We were married in the Oquirrh Mountain temple on March 12, so almost 4 months ago! We met at Snow College at the beginning of the Spring ’09 semester. The first time I saw Kyler, I knew I wanted to marry him. I gave no other girl a chance at winning Kyler over, and believe me, i had a room mate go on a date with him, i fought hard. :D. I also made sure Kyler had no time to look at another girl.

Our relationship really kicked off that spring break where all we had to communicate with each other was Facebook . . . We spent every night that week chatting till the early hours of the morning. Just ask our moms. We may have been home physically, but not mentally. I can remember reading off emails to my mom that kyler would send me, I know i made my mom sick when all i could do was blush and smile and quote parts of Kyler's Letter, "And he wants to get married in any temple that his future wife picks and oh mom, i'm so in love!" yes, i'm sure that was something i would have said

Kyler Graduated from Snow College with his associates that spring. Soon after that, he moved to Salt Lake, where his family is from. While Kyler was moving to Salt Lake, I was moving to St. George to live with my family. We spent the summer on the phone after 7pm till the early hours of the morning. After the summer, I went back to Snow College and Kyler moved to Logan to attend USU. That December, I could not take the distance and moved to Logan.

Kyler loves to play and create board games. He and his best friend enjoy coming up with future games they could make. Kyler is currently going to USU and is studying computer engineering, but has a few more years to go. He is working grave yard shifts as a technical support for websites. . . Being a girl, i do not know exactly he does. :D

I love playing my flute and to sew costumes. I have always had an appreciation for music, and am always willing to perform. My all time favorite job was sewing for the Snow College theater department. I will be finishing up my Associates degree at Snow College by taking the last two classes at USU. YEAH!!!

Pixar recently put out a new movie called "UP". In the beginning of the show, it is the story of a couple meeting. A girl named Ellie and a boy named Carl. The first time i saw this movie was with Kyler's family. At the end of the first section, they stated that the relationship between the characters reminds them of mine and kyler's. reasons being. . .
1.) Ellie's hair when she takes off her hat. yes my hair, with out good product, will do the stand up frizz thing.

2.) the line "You don't talk so much. . . (long pause). . . I like you" Kyler does not talk as much as most people do, and i talk A LOT A LOT A LOT!!

3.) Carl and Ellie are SO in love.

recently we have loved going on hikes together, playing our instruments, and playing Rummikub, (which i'm the champ at) and Bananagrams, a new addition to our collection. We are also trapped in Japanises cartoonish things, like Esra Flolune.


So that was our spotlight, but of course i changed a couple of things since i dont have a limit on how long it can be. :D

Kyler and I are still SO in love. i'm sure we make people at church sick because all we can do is cuddle and stare into each others eyes for minutes at a time, but hey, were newly wedds. We only enjoy this part of life once, so there. :D
