College

So I'm really enjoying all of my classes... o except English and Public Speaking. I like Public Speaking but i hate having to write my speech out. i just want ot get up and talk about what ever comes to my mind. English stinks be cause i have to write a paper on Illegal Immigration, and i have no opinions on it at all. Sad day. But i love human development, and i love my conducting class. i love being able to pretend like i know what I'm doing or at least be able to feel the emotions in the piece. There is a lot more to conducting than just waving your arm just to let you know if you didn't already. Well, i love that class, and I'm learning so much in Human Development. I spent last weekend over at my sister Christa's house with her little family. Lexi, her two year old, was so much fun to watch since i had just learned about the physical and cognitive development of a two year old. It was a blast. well, my mom has grounded me... well sort of... she has given me strict instruction that i need to go to be. If i were two, she would have to break that down for me and give me a choice. According to my teacher and text, a child that age is learning to do things and on their own. So if i were two, my mom would have to say, "Manda, its time for bed, do you want to put on your pjs first or brush your teeth?" but my mom just told me that i need a cup of hot chocolate and go to bed... hummf... well i better follow what she says for me to do.
